This product uses a new material that was jointly developed by Nitori, Teijin and Nicca. Thanks to the advanced technology of Teijin Frontier, it is possible to apply anti-pilling, anti-snagging and stain-resistant treatments to the fabric, preventing pilling, fuzzing and loose threads, and making it easy to remove stains. This sofa is made from a new material that is resistant to both dirt and scratches caused by pets' claws. *This product does not completely prevent scratches caused by pets. This fabric is more durable than ordinary woven fabrics. *This product is designed to be effective against water- and oil-based stains, but it is not effective against all types of stains. The stain-resistant finish does not completely prevent or remove stains. Even after 20,000 back-and-forth abrasion tests, N-shield-DR fabric is so strong against scratches that there is almost no thread fraying or thread breakage. Teijin Frontier internal abrasion test method: 2.8kg load applied to the fabric and moved back and forth 20,000 times.
