I bought it because of the size and simple design, but I was worried about the weight because it was thick, so I kept putting off buying it. However, I couldn't find a bowl with the design I liked in this size, so I bought it, and when I actually used it, I felt that it had a high heat retention ability because of its thickness? There were other bowls with a similar thickness, but this one is thicker. It's not too hot to hold, and I can enjoy my udon or ramen noodles hot all the way to the end. When you use it, the weight doesn't bother you at all. Compared to the extremely light bowls like the Calecle bowls sold in the same Nitori department store, it does feel a bit heavy, but I think it's perfectly normal.
