It's a bit of a hassle to cut the width and length to fit the shoe box, but it seems to work. I've been using newspaper to line the shoe box, so it looks better now.

I bought this when I moved into my new house. I've been buying one of these every time I move. Just laying this down prevents dirt from getting in, and if sand builds up, you can just brush it off outside. There's a grid-like pattern, so if you cut it along the lines with scissors, it will line up nicely. I haven't really paid attention to the deodorizing effect, but I think that if you don't notice it, it must be effective.

It's convenient because the dirt is less noticeable and it's easy to cut with scissors.

The shoe box in my house is 70cm high with 5 shelves, so it wasn't long enough. It would be nice if there were products in two different lengths, like 1.5m and 3m, so that there would be less waste. It's cheap and light to buy another one, but I don't want to store the extra length, and I don't like the idea of it deteriorating if I do store it. I think I'll use the rest of it somewhere other than the shoe box. I just want to put something down, so the effect doesn't really matter.
