Sturdy.

It has legs, so it's convenient for draining water independently. It looks sturdy, so I'm hoping it will last a long time.

I've been wanting something like this!

I bought this because I thought it could be used as a strainer or for washing rice, as well as for the purposes described in the product description. I'm not very good at opening colanders, so I'm grateful that it has a handle, and I like the fact that the sturdy frame is strong against water pressure, and the simple design underneath is hygienic. However, the bottom support is a little unreliable, so even when it's empty, it's difficult to stand on its own, so be careful. If I could make a wish, I'd like to see sizes S and SS available with the handle attached. It's quite large for use with a single serving of noodles or for lifting boiled eggs out of hot water.

For New Year's Eve soba.

I bought this colander this year with the intention of making soup from scratch. I tried boiling Sanuki udon in November, and it was easy to drain the water. I can drain the water from both fresh and dried noodles, so I think I can make ramen for about three people, so I'm going to buy some chicken bones. I went to various stores, but Nitori had the most durable and inexpensive colander, so I'm glad I bought it.

Well made.

As it's something I use every day, I'm glad it's made of stainless steel and is well-made. However, when placed in the sink, it leans over easily because it only has three feet in contact with the surface. If this could be improved, I think it would be a very good product.
