I wish it blocked out light half as well.

I replaced the old non-light-blocking hemp-filled roller screen. The non-light-blocking one was fine, but in summer the room temperature would go up quite a bit. I decided to go for the light-blocking one, and it works really well with the air conditioning. If I could be picky, I'd like to have a half-light-blocking one that lets in a little light.

It goes well with Japanese-style rooms.

I bought this to replace the old roll screen I was using. I was looking for something that would block the view from the outside and would suit a Japanese-style room, and it was also cheap. The size was perfect. I'm satisfied.
