It's better than I thought

I was looking for a magnetic type to stick on the entrance door because there was no umbrella stand in the entrance. I thought I would buy the white one, but when I actually saw it, I thought the black one looked cooler and the dirt wouldn't be so noticeable, so I decided on the black one. The magnetism is also quite strong, so it's hard to move it around. As an aside, the broom and dustpan next to the photo were also magnetic type and I bought them at Nitori. They stick to each other, they're easy to sweep with, and they're convenient because they stick to the front door when you store them away!

I bought this for my child's apartment when he started living on his own. The space for keys, seals, etc. is shallow, so it seems like they might fall out when opening and closing the door. He doesn't seem to use it because he's afraid of dropping it outside.
