I was using a wooden cutting board I bought at Nitori, but it got dirty, so I came to the store to buy a new one. I bought this one to try it out because it looked like it had soft teeth, but it's really good! It's gentle on your ears and arms. I'm recommending it to my mother at home, too.

When I first started using it, I wasn't used to the soft feeling, but it makes cutting ingredients easy. It's scratch-resistant, light, and dishwasher-safe, so it's very easy to use, and I have three of them: two large ones and one small one.

The size is also just right and it fits in the dishwasher. It is easy to cut with, without the impact of the thumping and floor-hitting sensation that is characteristic of thinner cutting boards. When draining tofu, for example, the grooves are convenient because they prevent spillage. It is also soft, so it is easy to use when putting food into pots and pans. However, it would have been better if there were not only holes in the middle, but also around the edges, so that you could use it as an index for ingredients.
