It's made of heat-resistant glass, so it's heavier than you might expect. I also bought a pump at the same time. The pump is essential because the seal will not be airtight unless it is vacuumed. I am currently experimenting to see if I can make quick pickles easily by vacuuming it. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, the lid will dent if you pull out the air. However, I think this is a necessary structure because it is a guide to see if the vacuum is not properly done if it does not dent. I am also wondering how durable this dent is, assuming that it is a correct structure.

It lasts longer when storing things like lettuce, and even when pickling fish, it doesn't transfer any smells. It's easy to use because it's not very tall for a container of this size. It's been working well, but the 1040ml size has a wide lid area, so I'm worried about the dents (distortions) that form when I vacuum it. I don't notice that much distortion with the 650ml, but with the 1040ml I wonder if it's okay. The lid is certainly a cheaply made. Even so, I've been using it and convinced myself that it's worth the price.
