Until now, I've been using a small cutting sheet or chopping board bought from a 100 yen shop, but because it was thin and low, sometimes it was difficult to use, as the knife would hit the slightly raised edge of the sink, etc. After finding and buying this even more compact cutting board, I've been using it a lot when chopping condiments and when I need to cut something small, I find it really useful. The height makes it easy to cut, and the feeling of the knife hitting the wooden surface (maybe also because of the sound made by the hardness of the wood) makes me feel like I'm really cutting something, which is very satisfying for me personally.
