I bought this for the kitchen. The size is just right.

It's just right for taking out the rubbish for a single person household. The lid closes slowly, so there's no impact when it closes, which I'm satisfied with.

It's sturdy and easy to use.

As described in the fourth page of the product description, if you put a plastic bag over the black pail inside and then try to put the pail in the trash can, there is not enough room between the pail and the white outer casing, so the plastic bag will come up and stick out. Other people have also written about this. So, if you try to reuse the plastic bags with handles from supermarkets, etc., the plastic bag will stick out from the lid, which is a shame. If you are a fussy person, I think it's better to buy the product after you have agreed to this point. If you struggle to set it up so that it doesn't stick out, you can do it, but it takes time, so it can be stressful. If you have a plastic bag that is just a plastic bag, you can probably squeeze it into the black pail with the hole in the back, and it will fit nicely. I'm a fan of reusing plastic bags, so I haven't tried it, but... The lid closes quietly, so it's comfortable and there's no noise. There's no packing, so I don't think it's suitable for storing things that might leak.
