Cucumber/Green Onion Slicer

Chopping leeks used to be a pain, but with this, you can slice them in no time at all without needing a chopping board. It has two blades that can cut back and forth, and the sharpness is excellent. I really think this is a product that is worth the price. I recommend it.

When I was cutting leeks, I often found that the outer skin wouldn't cut with a single-edged knife, but when I changed to this, the stress of cutting leeks into rounds disappeared. It's a great tool for quickly making thinly sliced spring onions with a sharp edge. It's not single-sided, so you can quickly cut a large amount of spring onions. In winter, I find it useful for topping miso soup, hot tofu, ramen and udon. I bought a second one after taking it apart and sharpening it a few times without success.
